The spaces of this film conveyed loneliness and anonymity, creating the context for a love story based on a dark and selfish secret. I supervised sequences with vast spaceship interiors which should look pristine, waiting for thousands to live and socialise, but should feel very physical and tangible in their emptiness. The look of the film was very clean and bright, so this became an exercise in minimalism and finding the right details that would make the viewer believe the digital spaces were real.
